Health is Wealth

Welcome to the College of Health Sciences where health care professionals are being groomed for emerging health challenges in a changing world. The core professional programs include : Medicine and Surgery ; Nursing sciences: Physiotherapy; Medical laboratory sciences and also Bachelor’s degrees in Anatomy and Physiology. These programs have a unique Community Based Experiences Programme (COBES) aspects where our students are introduced early into the community and our college is a WHO collaboration center for community health and research. There are 2 centers of Institute of Medical Research and Training (IMRAT), Molecular Diagnostic Research Laboratory (MDRL) and three other units of COBES; Clinical Skills and Simulation Laboratory( CSSL) and Medical Education Resource Unit( MERU). The sister Institution of University of ILORIN teaching hospital is our laboratory for our students to acquire the needed skills outside the classrooms to be able to show case acquired skills globally.
